Yummy Finished Knitting!

I got a few knitting projects finished yesterday:)

First up! The Hubby's Yummy Cashmere Scarf:) I spun the yarn and then knit him this little scarf to keep his neck cozy and warm this winter!

Next I finally finished the Half-Circle Shawl by Jennifer Jones! I used 4 Skeins of Silky Wool and size 8 needles:) I love how it turned out! It is going to make a great thank you gift!

And last but not least I just finished reworking Jami's Sparkler Flap Hat pattern into a fair isle pattern for a class I am going to teach! I think this is going to make a great gift for my niece!

Spun me some BFL!

I just finished spinning up some BFL:) This is Winter Romance
2 plied at a sport weight. I got just shy of 400 yards, out of 5 ounces of fiber. I was thinking that I was going to weave a scarf with it but I am undecided now!

I finished a couple of knitting projects yesterday. They are blocking so I will give you a look tomorrow!

The First Of Many

This is the first of many Mini Socks to come this holiday season:) I want to make a garland of them to hang with my lights in the front window! I used my Mini Sock pattern that you can find on the side bar and Noro Kureyon Sock scraps with a size US#1.5 needle. I love how it turned out:)

Okay, yesterday I promised pictures of the Thorpe I was working on, so here they are! I really like this one but my photos are kind of craptastic because it is very gray out today.

I am working on the BFL for a woven scarf, I am hoping I will have pictures of some finished yarn for you tomorrow!

Fall Garland

I made a sweet Fall Garland for my front window:) It was very hard to take pictures of it. I knit some leaves and crocheted them together and put them in my front window with some lights! It is my fall theme.

Sucking up some vitamin D!

So it was sunny and 70 here yesterday:) I had to come up with a way to suck up some vitamin D! So we bought some duck food and headed to the pond to feed some water fowl! All of my boys enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese! I enjoyed the sun and we all got some vitamin D!!! Vitamin D deficiency is a real thing in the Pacific Northwest so I am mindful of sucking up the sun whenever we can, during the rainy months.

Batty day

My boys decided to make batts and spin this afternoon! This mommy couldn't say no!
Sandrey has been collecting little bits of fiber off the floor for weeks, saving them to make a batt! Well today was the day!
